Scott Lemay is the best building contractor we have ever worked with, and we have had four houses and many contractors in our married life of 47 years. We discovered Scott when Cyr Lumber in Salem sent him to install a new Andersen sliding glass door and windows. It didn't take long to see that he was a perfectionist with great attention to detail. We then hired Scott to build a custom room in our basement, and the now finished playroom gets rave reviews from friends and family. Scott is a craftsman himself and he knows all of the subcontractors and inspectors in the area. He oversaw and did the majority of the work himself and held all subcontractors, electricians. carpet and ceiling contractors to his high standards. He had a suspended ceiling contractor replace the tiles because the "grain" in the tiles from the factory didn't match on a high end tile. We didn't even notice but Scott did and they were replaced.
